Belt Conveyor is widely used in home appliances, electronics, electrical appliances, machinery, tobacco, injection molding, post and telecommunications, printing, food and other industries, assembly, testing, debugging, packaging and transportation of objects.

Product Description of Belt Conveyor

The line body transportation can be selected according to the process requirements: ordinary continuous operation, cycle operation, variable speed operation and other control methods; the line body is selected according to local conditions: linear, curved, slope and other line body conveying equipment including belt conveyor is also called belt type Conveyor or belt conveyor, etc., is an economical logistics conveying equipment that is indispensable for forming a rhythmic flow line. Belt conveyors can be divided into heavy belt conveyors such as mining belt conveyors according to their conveying capacity, and light belt conveyors such as electronic plastics, food light industry, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

The belt conveyor has a strong conveying capacity, long conveying distance, simple structure, and easy maintenance, and can easily implement program control and automation. Continuous or intermittent movement of the conveyor belt is used to transport items below 100KG or powdery or granular items. The operation is fast, stable, low noise, and can be transported up and down.

Structural Characteristics of Belt Conveyor

The belt conveyor is mainly composed of two end roller and a closed conveyor belt tightly mounted on it [1]. The drum that drives the belt to rotate is called the drive drum (drive drum); the other drum that only changes the direction of movement of the belt is called the redirecting drum. The drive roller is driven by a motor through a speed reducer that is dragged by friction between the drive roller and the conveyor belt.

The driving rollers are generally installed at the discharge end to increase the traction and facilitate dragging. The material is fed from the feeding end, falls on the rotating conveyor belt, and is transported to the discharge end by the friction of the conveyor belt.

Application of Belt Conveyor

  • Food industry

  • Medicine industry

  • Chemical industry

  • Manufacturing plant .etc

Main Features of Belt Conveyor

(1) The conveyor of the belt conveyor is stable, and there is no relative movement between the material and the conveyor belt, which can avoid damage to the conveyed material.

(2) Less noise, suitable for occasions where the working environment is relatively quiet

(3) Simple structure and easy maintenance

(4) Low energy consumption and low cost of use
